The first application of Cre8MDI's technology is diagnosing and monitoring arterial stiffness through the measurement and calculation of pulse wave velocity (PWV). Scientists have found conclusive evidence that aortic stiffness expressed as aortic PWV is a strong predictor of future cardiovascular events such as strokes or heart attacks.
